Scam calls

If you receive a call asking for your MitID information, it is an attempt at fraud.

Scammers who call can be very convincing. For example, they might try to persuade you that there are issues with your MitID. Never approve anything with MitID based on a call from someone claiming to be from MitID support, your bank, the police, or any other organization. You will never be contacted this way.

Never give information to people who call and ask for it

Even if the person on the phone says that it is urgent or that your MitID will be suspended, never let yourself be persuaded. Remember that no legitimate businesses or authorities will call you about your MitID. If you are unsure, hang up.

If you are in doubt about any issues with your MitID due to suspicious calls, you can call MitID Support at +45 33 98 00 10.

How to recognize a scam call
