When you need assistance from MitID Support, you must be able to confirm your identity to ensure that we are assisting the right person.
You can do this, for example, by providing either your passport or driver's license number (valid Danish or Greenlandic driver's license or passport) when you call Support, and then answering a series of security questions.
Another way to identify yourself is by creating a support ticket. A support ticket is a six-digit code that is valid for 3 hours and is linked to your personal MitID. When you call MitID Support, you can identify yourself by providing the support ticket number, and then answering a series of security questions.
You can create a support ticket by either logging in to MitID.dk or by selecting 'Support ticket' in the menu of the MitID app.
