PIN code

The PIN code is your own personal 6-digit code that you use every time you open the MitID app.

You can change your PIN code in the menu in the MitID app.

Have you forgotten your PIN code or has your MitID app temporarily been blocked? Then you need to reactivate your app and create a new PIN code.

Rules for the PIN code

  • The PIN code must be 6 digits long
  • The following number combinations are not allowed:
    • 6 identical digits, for example 111111
    • The sequence 123123
    • Certain keyboard sequences such as 012345, 123456, 234567, 345678, 456789, 543210, 654321, 765432, 876543, or 987654
    • Certain numeric keypad sequences such as 147258, 321654, 789456, 159753, 123654, 654987, 258369, 456123, 753159, or 456987.
