Certification process

The broker certification consists of two parts. Basic certification and certification for compliance with Security Requirements and UX Scheme.

Choose a certification partner

The broker selects a certification partner, which can be either Nets' certification partner (FortConsult) or an external independent certification partner.

Using Nets' certification parties

Nets contacts Nets' certification partner and passes on your contact information.

1. Nets' certification partner invites you to a kick-off meeting within 4 weeks. Here, Nets' certification partner reviews the requirements for base certification and presents the requirements form (Base Certification Requirements Form), which must be completed by you, as well as the necessary documentation. At the kick-off meeting, you agree with the certification partner when and how you submit the completed Base Certification Requirements Form and relevant documentation, which demonstrates compliance with the requirements.
2. You then fill in the Base Certification Requirements Form yourself. If you have questions about the requirements in the requirements form, it is possible to ask your certification partner.
3. No later than the date you have agreed with the certification partner, send the documentation to Nets' certification partner:
   
   
   1. Completed Base Certification Requirements Form.
   2. Documentation of compliance with requirements.
   3. Overall conclusion of your external certification partners.
      
      

5. Nets' certification partner verifies your documentation. If Nets' certification partner can find deficiencies in the documentation or in the completion of the Base Certification Requirements Form, they will contact you as soon as possible, and you will have the opportunity to submit the missing documentation within two days. Once Nets' certification partner has verified that your documentation is sufficient, they send the documentation together with an overall conclusion to Nets DanID, which is the final approver of your base certification.
6. Once Nets has reviewed your base certification, we will write to you and send the user ID and password to the page here. If Nets cannot approve your base certification, you will receive a written justification for this.
7. Before commissioning your solution, you must complete the second half of the broker certification, which consists of compliance with security requirements and UX scheme.
   
   
   1. Completed Security Certification Requirements Form and UX scheme Certification Requirements Form.
   2. Documentation of compliance with requirements.
   3. Nets 'certification partners' overall conclusion.
      
      
8. Once Nets has reviewed your base certification, we will write to you and give you access to production. If Nets cannot approve your base certification, you will receive a written justification for this.

Using external independent certification partner

1. If you choose to use an external independent certification partner, you must submit the following to access the brokerage package:

1. 1. Completed Base Certification Requirements Form.
   2. Documentation of compliance with requirements.
   3. Overall conclusion of your external certification partners.
      
      
2. Once Nets has reviewed your base certification, we will write to you and send you the user ID and password for the page here. If Nets cannot approve your base certification, you will receive a written justification for this.
3. Before commissioning your solution, you must complete the second half of the broker certification, which consists of compliance with security requirements and UX scheme. You must submit the following to gain access to production:
   
   
   1. Completed Security Certification Requirements Form and UX scheme Certification Requirements Form.
   2. Documentation of compliance with requirements.
   3. Overall conclusion of your external certification partners.
      
      

Once Nets has reviewed your base certification, we will write to you and give you access to production. If Nets cannot approve your base certification, you will receive a written justification for this.
