When you are registered as a user in MitID, you will be presented with the privacy notice for MitID. The privacy notice, for example, informs you about how your personal data is processed, the types of information involved, its sources, how it is stored, and who has access to it.
A single clarifying change has been made, which you can see below.
Description of the clarifying changes
Changes in the privacy notice version 1.6 compared to version 1.7:
- Section 2: The section on the Data Protection Officer within the area of the Ministry of Digital Affairs and Gender Equality is removed, as the gender equality area was transferred to the Ministry of the Environment on 29. of August 2024.
- Section 4: The wording "Information about identification documents used when creating MitID" is changed to "Information about identification documents used and control questions when creating MitID".
- Section 4: Added category of data used to ensure that both phones/tablets are near each other when copying MitID app or activating a new MitID app from one phone/tablet to another.
- Section 4: The wording "Log-in location details, device used for log-in, network details and information about the identity and recent usage" is changed to "Network details and details about the device type used for log-in, information about the identity and recent usage.".
- Section 5: The wording "Nets DanID A/S is data processor for the Agency for Digital Government and supplier of MitID solution" is changed to "IN Groupe Denmark A/S is the data processor for Agency for Digital Government and provider of the MitID solution.".
- Section 10: The wording "You can also at any time view the personal data that the Agency for Digital Government has registered about you" is clarified with the addition "regarding your active MitID.".
